Water Levels
Fill water bags 1/2 to 3/4 full to allow room for expansion due to freezing. If you are having trouble closing the valves on your water bags - try this trick! Soak them in warm water and they will close easily.

Follow these steps:
- Before you begin to fill your water bags ½ to ¾ full with your garden hose, be sure to feed the water bags through the loops on your winter cover.
- Make sure to place your Buffalo Blizzard Water Bags around the perimeter of your winter cover.
- We suggest placing the water bags end-to-end around the perimeter of your swimming pool to fully ensure that no unwanted debris will enter your pool from underneath your winter cover.
- Place the water bags approximately 18 inches away from the inside edge of your swimming pool.
